Very friendly staff, convenient location and nice selection of sweeter PA locally grown wines.
I could not believe the lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism of the staff... when I asked what grapes were in one of the wines, I got a 10 minute lecture about how it was not my business and it was the winemakers secret. She gave me a pamphlet and said i could read about the wine. When I read the phamplet it said the wine in question was 100% Vidal. When I pointed out that the phamplet indicated the grape, she then gave me a lecture about her extensive knowledge. Really? I won't go further as my next discussions were equally ridiculous. Train your staff, please....
Great wines, nice case discounts and friendly staff. Their new white wine "Masquerade" is fabulous.
Delicious wine at reasonable prices. Wonderful family run business who grows most of their own grapes and sources what they don't locally. The actual vineyard is so picturesque... Great locations for extension this as well.
Small wine shop located in Reading China and Glass (you can enter Nissley from a separate entrance outside or from within the China store). They do tastings; two for free or up to six for $2. I'm a huge fan of their Grapeful Red and Spicy Red (like autumn in a glass). The only drawback is that during the high tourist times (summer and fall), the outlets are crowded and the shop is fairly small. Be prepared to wait if you want to do a tasting.
