The service. I don’t understand how It can take over an hour and a half to get your food. I mean sure, just the fact that it took our waitress over 20 minutes to even come to us the first time definitely adds time! And checking back with us one time in a hour and a half dining episode to refill our waters is not acceptable.

Brisket and Ribs- Took a very long time to come to the table! If it has cooked for 12 hours that day, don't you think it would be ready?!

The meat was very dry. Fall off the bone dry.

Very hard to find! The sign is small and not noticeable. If they advertised, part of Brickyard, it would be helpful.

So we have been here five times, so I believe I can give a balanced review. First the good, definitely the food! I’ve always had very good food, I’ve talked to some people that have not, but my experience has always been excellent.

And then the Bad:

This is NOT a restaurant that we would ever visit again or recommend.

Food fantastic. Bartender wounderful. Got deal on Groupon and we weren't disappointed. Love love loved it

I used to love coming here. the atmosphere is fantastic, but the new menu is tragic. they went from giving way to much food to raising the food and serving retirement home portions. you pay a couple of dollars more for half the food. the sandwiches are special either. They use store bought martins potato rolls, seriously they could get a deal with Thom's bread or a local bakery to have some fresh local rolls instead. on the upside they have a decent selection of craftbrews, and a decent set of BBQ sauces. it used to be 4 or five stars, but now it's 2 stars at best.

Food- appetizer came out pretty fast. Fried pickles were very good and hot. The peppercorn ranch was so watery, it wouldn't stay on the pickle.

***Maybe saving money by watering down your items, isn't helping. Just so you know.... people notice!

Over-all- We came to try this restaurant because we are huge BBQ lovers. We left hugely disappointed!

Whiskey- was watered down! Or atleast tasted like it was.

Then when it finally came......

Once we found Fat Pigs/ Brickyard, the service was very friendly. The atmosphere was great. Loved the decor!

Their French fries were about the best thing on the whole plate.

My friends and I had a party of 8 and Fat Pigs could not have done a better job of adding to all the fun we had. We ordered a little of everything, including some whiskey and cocktails. The food was great. It was nice touch to have a variety of sauces to try with our array of smoked meats. The baked beans were awesome and the mac and cheese too. Our server, Larry, practically treated us like royalty and was very entertaining as well. Definitely will be returning again.
