One of our favorite places in the area. Lots of small plates. Mildly on the pricy side. Usually have one of the best tap lists going. Inventive food and much more like what you would find in Philly or another urban restaurant.
Zucchini roll (A++), Pate Tasting (A, great taste of pates, but could be even better with more variety of pickled veg. accompaniments), Beet Gnocchi (A+), Pork Cheeks (A+), Oxtail Cannelloni (A+), Scallops (A in taste, but their size was really small), and Blueberry cobbler for dessert (A). Everything was very interesting, creative and delicious.
I probably would have stayed for more than one drink or even bought from the bottle store had either been more personable. Felt like a cold rather than inviting and friendly environment.
We'll definitely keep this place in mind when in the area.
The ambiance is very relaxing and hipster, and the service was nice, efficient and professional. Nick was very informative answering our questions, has a great sense of humor and communicating with him was a pleasure.
Always great, ubique beer choices. Outdoor patio open during warmer months. Try the oyster nights during fall/winter
The value was great too, and they have a great choice of beer and many other delicacies in the menu and in adjacent store.
Awesome atmosphere. The food is inspired and not normally what you'd find. The bottle and cheese shop are worth a visit as well.
Good selection of beer, but the bartenders seemed to lack personality. Also the bottle shop guy was not very personable either.
