Lastly, at the time I was told there was not an Argon 18 frameset I could buy, which I confirmed with another Argon 18 retailer. Suddenly, the owners informed me that "one last frameset" was found in the factory. I found this suspicious and let them know that. I was subsequently given a morally righteous response and communication stopped. I found it hypocritical that the owners felt fine to question my suspiciousness but not their own sales tactics and service deficiencies!
Road racing focused bike shop with a manager that is very knowledgeable about his line of business. Velo comes highly recommended and provides the lost art of excellent customer service. The shop is located across from Arooga's on Centerville Road near Mountville.

I was given a "hard sell" to exchange my Cervelo frameset as part of a purchase of a size Large Argon 18 bike. I feel the owners should have known from looking at me, combined with their knowledge of Argon 18 bikes, that a size Large was too big and Medium was the correct size for me. I feel the owners didn't care about me as a customer, they just wanted to sell a bike and get my Cervelo frameset as part of the deal. In addition, I feel I was badgered about how I was going to sell my Cervelo frameset.
I took my Cervelo frameset to have a bottom bracket installed. It was installed backwards - drive side on the wrong side of the frame. I had to drive back a day or two later to have it fixed.
What a great all-around bike shop! Owner/Manager/Mechanic has superior knowledge for the bike racer and any type of bike rider at that, and helped me immensely!! Also, there are quite a selection for any type of bike rider - beach cruisers, kids bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, etc. Highly recommend this shop over any other!!!
