First of all, I just want to say my daughter has been going to this pediatricians office since birth. She is now four years old.
A very good pediatricians office that focuses more on the patient and parents is Roseville Pediatrics. I am not in any way shape or form promoting this pediatricians office with any underlying interests or coercion by the practice, but I'm simply just a caring parent who really is concerned about the well-being of my child. I spoke with these people on the phone at Roseville pediatrics and they were absolutely amazing! The nurse was very knowledgeable, polite, and most importantly was understanding to my questions and concerns in regards to my child.
This blood TITERS test cost us almost $400 and the doctor never made it known, in her office the day we were requested it, that even though the blood TITERS came back showing she was immune they still had a mandatory vaccine policy. This is a classic example of big Pharma and the medical industry being in bed together as it's plain to see this is strictly for monetary gain. Profit is the main concern here versus our children's health.
Been taking my kids here for 9 years and absolutely love the staff on all levels! They've become like family to us. There were a couple years we had a very sick baby and the doctors worked together to come up with a plan. We know they are our advocate and for that we are grateful!
I want to encourage all parents to avoid this place like the plague and to really focus on the needs of your children versus the CDC mandated regulations and individual practice policies that could potentially harm our children. There are many other pediatricians in the area that even let the parents pick their own vaccination schedules and opt out of certain vaccines if they feel the need to do so without any backlash from nurses and doctors.
All tests came back positive meaning she did not need any additional vaccines because she was already immune. The nurse proceeded to tell me over the phone that she is still required to get a second round of the very vaccines that she is already immune to.
SHAME ON YOU LANCASTER PEDIATRICS!!!
Secondly, while on the phone with the nurse I told her I did not want any more vaccinations given to my daughter until I had the opportunity to speak with the doctor about some of the questions and concerns I had about the safety and ingredients. She told me they were going to give my daughter the vaccines with or without my approval. I have this entire phone conversation recorded that lasted about 15 minutes total. The nurse was even made aware I was recording the conversation.
The level of unprofessionalism of the greater majority of the nurses in this establishment is sickening. We took my daughter in for her 4-year Wellness check-up and the doctor advised us it was time for a second round of vaccinations including the MMR and Varicella vaccine. We opted to get a blood TITERS test drawn which would indicate the levels of vaccination currently in our child.
Simply put, the nurse told me if we don't proceed with the second round of vaccinations she cannot be seen there as a patient anymore and she would have to find a different pediatrician.
