We needed a place to stay on our way home from North Carolina to Albany. We were traveling with two dogs. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Although it was a pet-friendly room, the room was beautiful, clean and odor-free. It had so many conveniences including a sofa, printer, microwave and refrigerator. The room also was very attractive with great lighting options. The outside area made it very convenient to take out the dogs in the middle of the night. I would have stayed a few more days if I could. I was so glad I discovered this hotel.
I don't even know where to begin with this place, everything was absolutely wonderful and I wouldn't say I'm too easily impressed. If I wasn't in an off mood when I checked out (not due to anything on their part) I may have jumped over the counter and hugged them all. Every single thing about this place made it the highlight of my weeks vacation. I guess the only negative I could possibly think of was that the room I wanted was booked.. but they can't help their popularity and my room was wonderful! In fact, I'd only originally planned to stay one night but upon arriving and becoming more comfortable than I could've expected, I decided to extend my stay. Having stayed at various accommodations (hotels, motels, airbnbs) during my vacation, this place was the absolute highlight and I highly recommend it. They should call it Heaven Resort.
The place looked nice enough, but I didn't spend the night, so cannot comment on the rooms or amenities. We did go to the hotel bar after a friend's wedding (as he was staying there), the bar staff was very good, very cordial, and the prices were surprisingly good for a hotel bar. Also had the Sunday brunch (also as part of the wedding party), and the food selection was stunning. Dozens of excellent cold meat choices, hot dishes, an omelet bar, bagels, breads, roasts, if anything, there was almost too many choices. Out of all of the things the only knock against the food is that, speaking as a Marylander from Baltimore, the crab cakes were sub-par. Absolutely no complaints about any of the staff though.
We just stayed at the Eden Resort for the third time. This was our shortest stay, a one night outing. We were there with family 8 people in total. We had booked double room in the main lodge. To our surprise we were upgraded to a wonderful suite. On top of that the pool (indoor) was delightful and despite a full booking for the following day the resort was willing to extend our checkout time. The staff is beyond attentive and rivals the service we have seen on cruises and all inclusive resorts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Lancaster area as it is perfect for hanging out and relaxing as well as being convenient to all the local attractions. Excellent job and service once again by the staff and top notch customer service. Can't wait for the next visit...
I was very shocked by this resort. Upon entering I thought maybe I made a mistake with the gas station right at the entrance and the construction going on. BUT.....At check in, I was greeted by a cheerful staff member and given a bag of delicious chocolates. I was a little nervous when they told me that my room was outside of the hotel and around back. When I looked at the room number or should I say villa it looked like any ordinary town home but upon opening the door, I was pleasantly surprised and shocked! This beautifully decorated villa had everything that one would wish for or want! The bed was so comfortable and the entire stay was so enjoyable that I will be back in about 2 weeks. I will definitely be using this resort for my future stays. Thank you for all who made my stay so welcoming! Kudos!
